Quality documentation for technical sensor programs

Temperature sensors are often purchased into larger quality, validation, and compliance workflows. Thermometrics supports those workflows with controlled build practices, traceability, inspection, calibration support, and familiarity with the standards commonly referenced for industrial, aerospace, and hazardous-area work.

Documentation and traceability for critical sensor programs

Inspection records, traceability, calibration support, and controlled build documentation help engineering, quality, and purchasing teams connect the delivered sensor to the required technical file.

ISO 9001

ISO 9001 supports documented processes for consistent production, controlled inspection, calibration handling, corrective action, and repeatable build practices across sensor and hardware programs.

AS9100

AS9100 adds aerospace-focused requirements around configuration control, risk management, documentation discipline, and traceability. It is especially relevant where temperature sensors are used in aerospace and defense development, testing, and production environments.

Traceability & Inspection

Programs may require material traceability, dimensional verification, lot control, or first-article style documentation. Thermometrics supports those needs where they are called out by the application or purchase requirement.

Calibration Support

Calibration and reporting requirements vary by program. We support NIST-traceable calibration workflows and documentation aligned to the sensor type, the required temperature points, and the customer quality process.

Hazardous-Area and Market Certifications

ATEX, IECEx, UKEX, NRTL, and CSA are commonly referenced for assemblies used in hazardous-area or regulated equipment programs. Requirements depend on the final assembly configuration, market, and protection concept.

  • ATEX and UKEX are used where European or Great Britain hazardous-area conformity is required.
  • IECEx is often referenced when international hazardous-area acceptance is part of the project requirement.
  • NRTL and CSA are commonly specified for North American electrical safety and product certification pathways.

Workmanship Warranty

Thermometrics warrants equipment of its own manufacture to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal conditions of use and service.

Where a covered defect is confirmed, the policy provides for replacement of the defective component returned prepaid within one year of original purchase.

Product specifications and application details should still be confirmed at time of order, especially for custom builds and critical-service programs.
